Reviews For Misguided Fate
I may have misunderstood something, though - if the person who gets hit by this phenomenon can choose only one other to recognize them, then how is it that Madame Pomfrey recognized Harry and Severus, and how did Severus recognize Harry? Author's Response: Thank you, I'm happy to hear that. As for why Severus recognised Harry, and why Poppy recognised Severus...that will be explained in more detail in a few chapters down the track when Severus gains more knowledge about it. However, simply put, only one witch or wizard is supposed to be struck at a time. Severus and Harry were both struck together and their cores reacted to that, so it was sort of a "two for one" deal. In terms of the magic, they're sort of treated as one, forever linking them in regards to their situation. I hope that makes sense. Thank you very much for your review!
Author's Response: Thanks. And thank you for the review!
Author's Response: Hopefully it will make more sense in coming chapters. It's not a time travel story, just changing Severus' age for a few chapters. Is there any particular things you notice to be complicated, or just the sitiation in general? Thank you very much for the review!
Author's Response: Thanks. Yeah, Poppy wasn't letting him get away with that. Thank you very much for reviewing!
Author's Response: Haha, thanks. And thank youvery much for the review!
Author's Response: Thanks! Ginny will be like a little sister to Severus in this story, and she's 11 whereas he's got the conscious of a 30+ man. No, that pairing is not at all happening here. Tonks isn't even a character I have properly considered adding yet, though she might make an appearance later. As for the romance rating I placed on this story, I will add some more details in the notes of next chapter. Thank you for your review!
Author's Response: I battled with that for a while, if I should add it yet or not, but then I realised in his situation the vanishing of the dark mark would be the least of his focus at the moment. Don't worry though, there will come a time when he will return to that change on his forearm and what it means to him for the mark to be gone. This phrase alone, "Severus Snape staying at the Burrow" foreshadows trouble lol. While I agree that Harry will fit in better than Severus, it won't be as easy as one may think. As for Severus being unstable emotionally due to the major age change, I can't say much at risk of spoiling something, but more about it will be revealed soon. Thank you very much for your review!
Author's Response: Lol, well...Actually, I do intend to update rather soon (the next 24 hours or so, most likely). I'm going to go over the next chapter again to check a few things, but it is otherwise all written and almost ready, so you won't have to wait too long! Thank you very much for the review! |
