Very interesting. I look forward to reading more.
I may have misunderstood something, though - if the person who gets hit by this phenomenon can choose only one other to recognize them, then how is it that Madame Pomfrey recognized Harry and Severus, and how did Severus recognize Harry?
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm happy to hear that. As for why Severus recognised Harry, and why Poppy recognised Severus...that will be explained in more detail in a few chapters down the track when Severus gains more knowledge about it. However, simply put, only one witch or wizard is supposed to be struck at a time. Severus and Harry were both struck together and their cores reacted to that, so it was sort of a "two for one" deal. In terms of the magic, they're sort of treated as one, forever linking them in regards to their situation. I hope that makes sense.
Thank you very much for your review!
