Fantastic title for a great opening chapter, full of humor and mystery, too! I love your writing style, btw! Am now wondering, along with Harry, why Petunia said nothing-- did she never know the truth herself, even tho' Lily somehow did? Curiouser and curiouser!

I enjoyed the opening scene of Severus destroying the vulture hat. It didn't come up in the movie or book but there had to be fallout for Snape from that. I also liked the thought that Albus may even have been one of the culprits. Speaking of Dumbledore, he certainly rocked Harry's world though I'm a bit surprised he told Harry about Snape.

Ooh no wonder Snape's in a bad mood! What an interesting twist - Petunia not being related by blood! I can't say I've seen it done before. An intriguing story, no doubt. Your writing style has caught my eye, and I enjoyed the conversation between Dumbledore and Severus. It seemed to create an illusion of depth in regards to their relationship. Hmm ... onward.

lol I don't know why people didn't send the "gifts" in the book. It would have been just as funny as, well you adding it.
