So the mystery of Hermione's birth parents deepens. I wonder if Ginny will tell Snape about Hermione's search for them?
So, at the beginning of this story, I was going crazy because of all the sad feels. It reminded me why I hate canon. XD I hate that so many people died that I couldn't even bring myself to read the 7th book. However, I really do love your story. It's been a lovely build and extremely realistic. I always found it odd that Harry didn't come away with more emotional scars from all the experiences that he faced. I hope you continue to write! I hope that Sev will allow himself to get closer to Harry.
Poor Harry. The fire and the danger to Severus would have been a shock but, hopefully he will realize soon that not everything that happens is his fault. I like the idea of the three of them in Alexis' home and am looking forward to more chapters soon.
I was wondering if Snape was the person in the burning house that Harry was dreaming about. It was fortunate for Severus, even if he is stunned by Harry's feelings. Hopefully, he will just go with it but Severus never does the easy thing.
I hope Harry doesn't feel too much guilt over Alexis and Severus' fight. There is a lot more behind that than just Harry and they need to work it out. It will be interesting to find out where Hermione's adoption takes us. Looking forward to it.
Alexis has her hands full. With the nursing, the student training schedule and keeping an eye on Harry, she has a lot on her plate. As annoyed as she is at Severus, at least he can help her with some of the problems. And she has Harry around for company.
I thought that Hermione asking Arthur for advice about getting information about her adoption was a good idea. He might have some thoughts on where to start. I also enjoyed Ginny's eagerness to use the microwave. That was a nice touch.
Having Snape go with him should make Harry feel better. Severus is a formidable man and should be able to fend off the people. Kingsley may be able to arrange for Harry to come in when fewer are there, too.
Poor Harry. At least Severus thought to ask Kreacher about him. Hopefully Snape will know a way to rescue Harry.
Well, that was a surprising twist. Hermione is going to have some more things to deal with now as well as the rest of our heroes.
