Love the reindeer, especially Atlas. Oh, the power of the Snape glare.
Author's Response: Haha, yes, I was fond of him too! Cheers for the review!

Great job on the characters and the conversations, and nice that Harry wasn't the only one Father Christmas had needed to visit.
Author's Response: Wonderful to hear from you! I am pleased you like the characters. I had fun writing the little conversation in the dungeons, so it is nice to know it was enjoyed! Cheers!
Wow, what a great opener. On to see where Snape and Harry fit in.
Author's Response: Great to hear you liked it, rosina! Thanks so much for reviewing!
Loved this story throughout! I read it straight through, then backtracked to post reviews so my login wouldn't get timed out at every chapter (in case you were wondering about the time/date stamp on my reviews! Ha!). This is one of the most wonderfully imaginative stories I have ever read! When I saw the action/adventure genre, I had to wonder what exactly I was in for... Well, now I know! And I never expected it to be so FUN! Thank you ever so much for writing this, Whitetail!
Author's Response: My oh, my, you came back to write reviews? Thank you so much for doing that! Too often people just plough through without a thought to review. I am so very glad you enjoyed the story. I worked really hard on it, and for someone to review every chapter as you have done makes it all worth it! The funny part was that I had intended to do a very serious story for this fest, and then in the middle of the night I burst out laughing at the thought of how fun it would be to make Severus be Father Christmas for a night! Ah, yes, I did wonder what people would think of hearing about an adventure story centred around Christmas, but I am glad that you think it fits! It is wonderful to hear that you thought it was so fun, because I know that personally, I laughed my head off on numerous occasions writing this! You are very welcome for the story, and I feel very blessed to have gotten your reviews! Cheers, shadow, and a happy late Christmas!
Again, wonderfully detailed background story! I sink blissfully into your descriptive narrative because it seems like it COULD be real!
Author's Response: Oh my, this review simply left me tickled pink. I am so pleased you find the backstory so immersive. I really wanted it to seem real, so I am glad you feel like it almost could be. Thanks so much for the review!
Also meant to add, Harry's sacrifice was with the true spirit of Christmas, something we don't hear a lot about nowadays with the holiday's commercial focus on total self-gratification. Wonderful reminder through Harry of what Christmas should emphasize-- the spirit of giving, rather than receiving.
Author's Response: I am glad you think so. I did that so that Snape could see Harry for who he was, but also see the spirit of Christmas. Nicely worded, shadow!
Ha! Snape's reputation would be blown sky high if the students found out what he was doing, but can you imagine if the news were to hit the Daily Prophet?!! Great chapter, and I was seriously afraid you'd forgotten Rain when they went straight back to Father Christmas. So glad she wasn't really abandoned after all!
Author's Response: Rita Skeeter would have a field day!!! Nope - Rain was remembered! Great to hear you are enjoying it still, and I'm loving the comments!
Awww! The scene with Rain was neat, but I thought the most touching part was the interaction between Snape and Sarah. Gotta say it again-- Awwwww!!! Sweet! :-)
Author's Response: Haha yeah, I thought Sarah would steal the show! Nice to know you liked the part with Rain too. Thanks for dropping a line!
Despite the disaster, I like the way they perform as a genuine team to help Rain and in extricating the sleigh. An unlikely team, as they started out, but Snape and Harry are finding a rhythm now. Nice!
Author's Response: Ah yes ... they're getting there! Cheers for thr review!
The scene between Atlas and Snape... I kept hearing the tune of "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" playing in the background! Also, I love the detail you put into explaining how the book and deliveries are supposed to work-- tho' I suspect it won't all go smoothly as clockwork!
Author's Response: Haha perfect tune for the chapter! Oh I spent ages devising Father Christmas' game plan and technology for doing it! Glad you liked the magic book!
