Not gonna lie, it stressed me out when he basically spent the last of his wizard money on this course, since he doesn’t have a way to get more yet! But really great chapter with just the right amount of detail to draw you in!

What can I say? I loved it
GO HARRY! WOOT! I loved that he's fired up and choosing to take most of the classes. What an exciting development! I hope he shows them all!
I was a little jarred by the mentioning of Sirius' death - I totally forgot that this was a recent event, since it wasn't on Harry's mind in the first chapter. It was such a life-altering event - shouldn't Harry be emotionally affected by it more?
Author's Response: Harry asked the staff and Snape to sign his form before the incident at the Ministry of Magic. That happened a couple of weeks later at the end of the school year. It's funny you should ask if he should be affected by it more, because that's what I thought in the real books. Harry seemed totally unaffected by Sirius death in JK Rowling's book 6. I do have stories where Harry is really affected by it, but in this story, though it is on his mind, he is very occupied with trying to get away from the Dursleys and paying for school, and then dealing with everyone at the school.
Reading about the school and the various classes was interesting. There are quite a few fine arts classes. I wonder how many of the students play an instrument. Too bad Harry had to use all his money and ended up borrowing from Hermione. I'm surprised she didn't use a spell to change the color for Harry so the things weren't so girly. One comment - you mentioned a couple of times that Harry's interest peaked. It should be piqued no peaked.
Ahhh, this is getting so good already! Pink is a beautiful color, Harry. Embrace it.
I'm happy Harry doesn't have a 'forget them' attitude and decide not to try at all, I hope he blows them all away!
