I think this chapter is a great continuation from the previous one - after all the violent cracking up, and Harry's struggle, we get to see lethargic numbness of Snape, which is just as terrible. Both characters' strength is remarkable! And I hope for some big revelations about Daisy soon, her absence is most suspicious :)

"Waking Up" indeed! The title & subject matter of your chapter feels ironic to me after I woke up ABRUPTLY Friday night after accidentally gouging (& I do not use that word lightly!) a piece of skin out of my cheek (half an inch above the right corner of my mouth) with one of my fingernails! Yowww! I had NEVER done that since I was maybe a baby! Gave me a totally new perspective on the extent of damage that Harry can inflict upon himself when he goes at it. Gee... And how shocking the wounds are for other people to see. I think the sight may have sent poor Snape into a state of shock...

I really loved the development of Severus in this chapter, as well as the development of the relationship between Harry and Stephen. Lovely as always. Looking forward to more! :D
