I'm surprised Harry actually went with Dumbledore, since he doesn't know him.
Heh, Albus has been looking for Harry for "quite a few days"? Does that mean weeks or months or years? Well, probably not years, at this point, since Harry doesn't try to get away using magic or anything.
Author's Response: It actually means a few days, more details will be revealed in a couple of chapters.

Very powerful chapter thank you
Well, that was an interesting first chapter. Lots of questions raised there. I'm looking forward to the answers. I wonder how Harry and Snape will get along? Harry seems as reserved as Snape and maybe as cynical so it should be quite a meeting.

I liked your descriptions of the alleyway and how Dumbledore used the deluminator.
Good start. I thought you wrote Dumbledore perfectly, and left enough questions about Harry's situation to make me keen to read on.
Hee hee, Dumbles hasn't changed, still has a sweet tooth. Poor Harry, he is so jaded, even at a young age.
Nice start to the story. Can't wait to see where you are going with it.
