I am excited to read this again! Last time I read it it wasn't finished yet so now I will find out how it ends. Yay!
If I could just write Snape like you do, I'd be a very happy person...I don't know enough big words to write him correctly though, haha. Love your version, :D Can't wait to see where this goes!

Of course Dumbledore takes Harry to Snape's home. Who else could he be certain would NOT fall all over themselves to take in the boy? Who else would NOT reminisce rapturously of the boy's parents, and undoubtedly give Harry information that the headmaster doesn't want Harry to have yet, or perhaps even wants to bribe the boy with later?
Of course, Dumbledore has let Snape infer what he wants about Harry, probably even manipulating him to ensure his continued hatred of the boy.

hmm I wonder when Snape will realize that Harry isn't who he thinks he is. Also, that Harry has no idea what or who he is and that Magic is fairly new to him.

Liked your Severus definitely IC! I hope we see some more dialogue as we seem to have a lot of Harry's thoughts at the moment.

The story is promising and I've enjoyed reading it so far. But most importantly, to me, is the fact that it is so well written. Stories which are written so poorly that the reader has to constantly "translate" from what is written to what the author probably means, are not enjoyable to read because there is so much distraction from the story itself. Yours is not like that, and I congratulate you for it.
Author's Response: Thanks :) yeah, one of my pet peeves is poorly written stories. As I read very critically and notice every mistake, I do try to practice what I preach.
As Harry thought, this could work out well for him. A warm, clean bed, nice bathroom and plenty of food certainly sound better than he had been living. Of course knowing Snape it will all come with a side of snark but no worse than he got from the Dursleys.
