Ah, I really love this. And I totally agree with you about some people going overboard with spankings at every possible opportunity and really graphic and stuff. Yours was just perfect. A sound reason and a normal punishment

Ah, Severus, you can never understand, can you, what it is like to be an orphan? To have every shred of your bedrock torn from you...indeed, to even have a bedrock in someone other than yourself. I wonder..how many people would truly, truly understand Harry's anguish? Kudos, and keep them coming :3
I loved it. Salazar's accent especially cause I was waiting for him to say something in a royal manner and then you get that out of it.

Completely heartbreaking! Wonderfully written as well. Normally, corporal punishment scenes make me uncomfortable, but this was done so amazingly well that it didn't bother me at all. I can't wait till the next chapter!
