This is a recommended read. The relationship with Remus and Harry and especially with Harry and Snape is charming and I like that this Harry is a little more than average in intelligence. The diary gave helpful information and was well written.

First of all, I'd like to say that I really enjoyed reading this story, but there are some nit-picky things I'd really like to point out. 1. When writing Harry's diary entries, you got the timeline wrong. According to JK Rowling, he was born in 1980. This means that he started at Hogwarts in 1991 and finished his first year in 1992, at which point he turned twelve and started his second year, which ended in 1993 and so on. You need to add one year to every date. 2. I'm really unhappy about Harry's eye being permanently damaged. I know one person who's completely blind and another who has one blind eye, and I can tell you that it's perhaps the most horrible disability a person can have. And perfect vision in the second eye doesn't help at all. It won't change the fact that Harry will litterally lose half of his vision, the half his blind eye would have been responsible for. And having such a narrowed vision is dangerous and disabling. Just close one of your eyes and check how much you can actually see, and you'll notice that your peripheral vision as well as your ability to see 3D will be lost. So, just consider the horror of what Harry is going through. 3. Even if Harry's eye is blind, it would NOT turn a milky white colour. That only happens if a patient suffers from eye cataract, which is not true in Harry's case. As he simply had an accident, his eye would for all intents and purposes keep looking as it did before- no colour change at all! He can keep his beautiful green eyes- possibly, there wouldn't be a noticable change at all. Otherwise, the eye might seem unfocused to anyone looking at it or flit around a little, as if searching for focus and never being able to find it. But it would NOT turn a milky white! 4. If Harry was genius enough to discover a cure to lycanthropy, he and Severus together should be more than capable of inventing a cure for Harry's eye. Severus has been wanting to look into that, right? Other than that, I am looking forward to reading more of this story. Keep up the good work.

Author's Response: I actually took the data from at least 10 other stories I had read, because I couldn't find data in the books. I don't think they're all that important either, you could place the story in practically every time (well, at least this century and the end of the last one). I won't change the date in this story, for it was only used as a referance in the diary, so people would get a better idea at how much time passed between each passage in the diary. The years don't have any significance for the rest of the story. I might use your information on new stories though, so I would like to thank you for pointing it out to me. Oh, and the same goes for the blind eye. I also know someone who lost vision in one eye, but that was because of a stroke. And I once had a teacher who lost sight on one eye (I don't know how it came about), but he did have a sort of other colour over his eye, looked white, so that's what I based it off. I might (might!!) return his sight to him, just not sure how, or when.

VERY, VERY COOL! I love how you made Harry cure Remus while still maintaining the relationship Sev & Harry have. I can't wait to see what the news of Harry's potion will bring to the wizarding world.... Not to mention Harry's intellagence will be out in the open! Please update soon! This story ROCKS! ;)
