This was so sad!!! And so well written!!
Love seeing this hidden perspective and moment in time. Snape sure has a heavy burden. But he’s equal to the task. It occurs to me that McGonagall had to think Snape was a murderer so she doesn’t give him away with any loyalty.
Very well written! I like how Snape is in here
I'm going straight on to part 2.

This feels like the perfect missing piece from the books! I had never really thought much about Minerva being at the school, it was so glossed over in favour of Harry's plot. Very interesting details and such a great portrayal of Severus. I look forward to reading the next parts of the series!

Good detailed, emotional speech by Snape! And really cool that Phineas Nigellus Black makes an appearance! I'll look forward to the future stories to see how this plays out.

great!
Author's Response: Thanks!
I never thought about it before but Severus would have been able to talk to the other headmasters' portraits. Having seen all that happened between Snape and Dumbledore, they probably would have been supportive. Not actual people but better than nothing.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! The concept in the magical world to speak to portraits is quite interesting. It should be comforting and yet... as you say, they're not actual people...
