Oh, dear. I knew that Sirius was going to be upset with Harry's letter about staying with Snape. One would think Sirius would reconsider since he is so close to Minerva, but that isn't Black's way when it comes to Severus. This is going to confuse Harry.
This is one of the times where the Twins Point of Pride for pushing the teachers as far as they can get away with backfired. Then again, Umbridge really didn't see the need for much excuse for punishing those that brought her ire. I really do think that a physical inspection of -all- the students' hands would be the best way to get through it. Because once punished, children will always try their hardest to avoid any further perceived pain. Even when speaking up will actually bring the opposite.
happy that toad faced is gone!! how could albus ask his brother to be a spy?
so happy that poppy show up!!
I wonder what happened to Minerva? It's hard to believe something could get through Hogwarts' wards much less overcome a powerful witch like Minerva. I wonder if Severus questioned Tami? It sounds like she was there at the time.
Hmm. I would have thought that Severus would be more subtle in his revenge. Something more in a Slytherin fashion that wouldn't be noticed right away.
If Harry is still sick, I can see why he is so emotional. It's hard to keep things in check if you aren't feeling well. I wonder if Albus will really check on Harry? Severus was smart to not let Minerva know what's going on.

Nothing quite like counting your lashes, is there? At least it will never happen again.
I love that there was no reaction to Minerva saying that they needed a new Defense professor. Like they were talking on whether to have treckle or mince pies for pudding.
