Interesting plot, but I was just wondering, is Harry Severus' slave, or is Severus Harry's slave? A little confused, but otherwise, great job! Please update soon!
Author's Response: Harry is Severus' slave, but Severus used to be James'. When two people hate each other enough, and a life debt is owed, then the slave bond takes effect. When James saved Severus' life, Severus hated James enough for the bond to form. When Severus saved Harry's life at the Shack, Harry hated Severus enough for the bond to form. Hope that clears it up!

I'm so intrigued by this premise and am eagerly anticipating an update (I think I've checked back 5 or 6 times hoping you might have a quick update) but I'm very interested to see where you take this. Hope the updates come quickly.
Author's Response: Sorry to frustrate you! I'm running 3 stories at the moment, along with work and school, but I'm very excited about this story as well. Hopefully I'll have another chapter up by the end of the weekend, but I can't promise I'll find the time. Exams and such.

Awesome start! I love it and I wonder how Harry's summer will be and what effects he will notice from the bond. I also wonder what Snape will feel or notice through the bond.
Author's Response: Severus will not notice it through the bond because that's not how the bond works. The bond doesn't care about the slave at all. It's entirely about the master, because the function of the bond is for the slave to repay the master.

Wow! I love where this is going! I thought the beginning was alright; I felt like Snape was a bit too emotional, but everything else after that was amazing! Good writing, good plot. Please update soon, i need more stories from fantastic writers like you! Feed my fanfic-hungry soul. :)

Author's Response: Snape was as emotional as he was to demonstrate how overraught he was at the time, and also to show how much he trusts Dumbledore. He's willing to relax and be himself in front of the man, whereas he won't in front of other people. In the next couple chapters, he should smooth out and be less demonstrative.

Interesting!!!!!!! Wonder if the bond will notice Harry's mistreatment?
You've come up with a very different premise than I've ever read before (saving creating slavery bond). Can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: I can tell you the bond will not notice Harry's treatment. It's just not the nature of the bond to do that. Thank you, by the way! I've only read one or two slavery stories, so I'm not well versed in what others do. :)
