Thank you a lovely chapter poor Neville!
You're a great father Severus.
wonder what severus will think, when he find out that sirus trying to adopted neville!! love the chapie.... hope neville's grandma is really sorry for harming him...
Oh drat - Of course AD, PP get to Force Severus to give too much - with guilt and no gratefulnes- Isn't it the rule that the Slytherin scapegoat is always overworked, No one defends his rights, Lets just stamp on him. And he has to take three, three! damaged children. Instead of sharing the work between them all. or setting up a rota. They have Magic and House-elves. I am furious on Severus' behalf. To be an exhausted caretaker does not help the vulnerable young 'uns; or Severus himself. His heart is in the right place. Poppy and Albus are just ducking their responsabilites -Albus epecially needs to learn the unselfishness caring for a child would teach him -the blind goat. He should help SS, firstly by explaining the situation to Harry's friends. they hate SS and doubt him which is not needed. PP should help SS by being a 'call and I'll come night or day' babysitter. No wonder our Potions Master was so disillusioned by his 'friends? and colleagues? Voldemort was at least an honest enemy.' Poor chap.
Author's Response: It'll get better, Severus needs their love just as much as they need his.
Glad they worked together to rescue Harry in time. Good to see Severus and Sirius making an effort to be civil as well, and nice that Harry is friends with Draco again. But whats going on with Neville? I do hope things work out well for him too.
Poor Neville. I don't think I could handle having his gift. It'd drive crazy.
While the visions will make it easier for Neville to integrate back into his adult(ish) body... all the progress made in this black/white world with grey information will make things stall, if not worsen, in the meanwhile. Poor Neville, while he's not the example of 'worst' or 'best', he's just constantly stuck in that 'second' position. That middling ground that is so easy to become invisible in, even when you don't want to be. And every time that progress is made, something happens to shove him back into that position. In a way, it's a good thing that he's a bit passive... but there's being passive and then there's letting yourself getting trod over. Not even with Remus, he gets a true one-on-one connection, he has to share everyone.
Author's Response: I promise you, Neville will get his happy ending. I swear it, he won't always be second best. He deserves to be loved as well.
Poor Neville. Somehow, someone needs to get him to stop making assumptions about people's feelings and motives. They are more complex that a five year old Neville can interpret.
Author's Response: They are indeed, but he's not being very forecoming in what he's feeling. Lol
wondering what its mean- since neville has flashback ? great chapie..
Whoop! Amazing chapter as always
