So after stoking the fires of hatred between Slytherin and the other 3 houses and convincing the Gryffindor house that they were always in the right for the past two decades, now Albus is upset that the students followed his lead into folly?
Of course, harry and draco were stupid as well as the others who 'rioted'.
I'm surprised, or maybe not, that Harry took the blame and punishment so meekly. I suppose he's used to not getting to defend himself. It would be interesting to have him demand to have one of the teachers see a pensieve memory of draco trying to crucio him.
Ah, well. Am enjoying the story. Update soon.
So how will Harry handle the Staff Room? Can't wait for more!
I enjoyed the scene with Harry teaching. He had some interesting techniques and I am sure the class was fun. I was glad you mentioned where Ron had disappeared off to. Yes, if he and Malfoy have to convalesce together, the hospital is going to be an unpleasant place.

Now that's interesting and new! I can't wait for the next chapter :)
That was an interesting first chapter. It does seem strange that Harry wasn't punished for cursing Malfoy and injuring him so severely. I liked the way the whole thing fell into place, too - the duel, Gryffindor going after Slytherin and the riot. It made sense. Having the castle itself angry with Harry was a nice touch. And I liked that Harry had to go to the Slytherin common room with Snape. I think he learned some things about Slytherin that he didn't know. Looking forward to more!
