For one terrifying moment, I thought that Snape would be Harry's counselor, but I am glad that he isn't. It was too dark, cheesy, are we? Light enough to see that it was Harry but dark enough not to see the bruises, i wonder how long would it take to Snape stop being blind as you said in the summary.
I really enjoyed reading this summer tale, and love the happy ending. Thank you for sharing it.

This was excellent, thank you very much for writing it! Keep up the good work.
The ending is missing whether or not Harry ever saw Rhys again, though. (I choose to believe that he did and the guy became his honorary uncle, and later all three of them worked in the camp together and were totally awesome.)
One thing that actually bothers me: Lily didn't really do much for the plot, despite the expectation that her introduction and especially her name gave. Her sharing a name with Lily Potter felt pointless, especially since Snape didn't even react to it in any way like one would expect, at the very least. If she was named almost anything else she wouldn't have felt as important and thus the lack of something happening wouldn't have been quite as disappointing. But oh well, otherwise the fic worked.

This was brilliant and heartwarming and lovely and a delight to read. I love how Harry was rescued and than found a brother in Rhys and than a father in Severus and how Severus forgot about Potter and found Harry and that they're a family. Also that Rhys wasn't just playing a part but saw him as a brother and said he loved him and wanted to boast about him. Also I think how Dudley and he became friends was awesome and that Dudley has his parents but that they have to attend classes and he gets to continue to go to Smeltings is awesome. I especially love how Severus understood Harry. You're an amazing author and writer. Cheers and ta.

This story is the most precious thing ever I can't even believe it!!!!
I legit got teary eyed at the end thank you so much for writing!
I especially love how you get into the characters heads. I feel like I'm living the experience with them instead of just reading about it which is one of my favorite things about reading a good story.
