Wow, that was a dramatic start! Intense, and a lot of action... Poor Harry, even if the Dursleys are not the best caretakers, it must be a shock for him that they were murdered... Was Voldemort not really involved in the attack? But, why, then did he kill Narcissa?
I loved the reconciliation, kind of bonding moment, when Harry came to let Snape enter his mind, showing his memories... that was very touching.... Will be interesting to see how Draco and Harry will get along...
I guess we know now why Harry is a Gryffindor

A good start. I do like how you had Harry choose to share some of his own memories freely to try to make amends. Very like him, really. Nicely done.

Hey there! I was glad to see you'd posted the first chapter, it is a very interesting beginning, I'm hoping we will get to see Harry's reaction to his relatives being killed, will he be truly sorrowful, unemotional because they never truly loved him (even though he had always wished they would have) or angry...it will be interesting. Even more interesting to see Draco and Snape's reactions to living with Harry for the summer, (and Harry's reaction to learning he'll have to do it!) I wonder if you will get someone to tell Harry, or if it will just be a surprise to him at the station! Dumbledore often doesn't let Harry onto his plans, and if Voldemort is trying to read Harry's mind still that might be a good reason not to tell him. Can you tell I'm intrigued? ^_^ Please update when you can!
