Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it so far :) I'm working on the next chapter now, it should be out in the next day or so.
man, now i'm damn curious as to how it got out that Snape's his dad.
you should use the whole 'thrice defied him' bit against Dumbledore, Snape didn't turn on Voldemort until after Harry was born. the prophecy doesn't fit because of that.
Author's Response: Depending on how things happen in the story, it'll probably be a few chapters before they talk about how they figured out Snape's Harry's dad. As for the bit about the prophecy, I might have Snape turn that back on Dumbledore, depending on how far it goes. Since I'm writing it for the summer fic fest, most of it is going to take place during the summer between Harry's fifth and sixth year.
