Interesting take on Vernon. The dynamic in an abusive household is rarely directly solely at one person, so pushing Petunia into more of a leadership role makes sense and also adds to the otherwise rather cardboard characters of the Dursleys. In the books they are very close to caricatures, so I enjoy fanfic that really explores why they are the way they are and how it's changed over the years as they are forcibly exposed to more of the magical world through Harry. Looking forward to more!
