Reviews For Surgery
Author's Response: Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you and lovely that you want to reread it! I'm glad you like "my" Snape, because I think that the change that he goes through is more interesting and complex, in a way, compared to Harry's - probably because he's an adult and Harry's a child, but all the same. Wrestling with redemption and finding something meaningful in life is universal in a way.
I sincerly hope that you will not wait with the sequel to the next summer! I think starting posting at 1st of the September would be ideal. =D Author's Response: Okay, won't be able to make that deadline I'm afraid ;-) although I'm seriously considering a sequel. I wrote Surgery during my summer holiday, but now I see nothing bur work several months ahead so it is virtually impossible to produce as much text in the immediate future, sorry. You're welcome to read my story "Spiral of Trust" though and see if you like it - I will be updating on that again soon, because it is already prewritten.
Author's Response: Thank you, I'll see what I can do :-) I have a pretty clear idea of what I would like to do for a sequel - I would skip a year or two and... Oh well, I need to have a bit of rest first. Writing is energy-taxing and time-comsuming and - incredibly fun :-)
I'm happy Harry didn't angst too much over Vernon's words and pleas. Self-serving was definitely his only motivation. Author's Response: I'm glad you agreed with the ending :-) And you were right about Vernon already in your second or third review. As you can see I unmasked his selfishness without mercy.
Author's Response: Great! I'll see when I can get down to it. Going to catch my breath for a little while, though :-)
Author's Response: Yes, do find out in the last chapter of "Surgery" :-) |
