Awwww. Poor Sev. I don't like spiders, either. I'm glad that Joseph was able to figure out what happened and straighten everybody out on the details, though. I want Severus to be a part of little Harry's life - it could be so cute, if only he'd give himself a chance to like the kid.
Poor little Harry. I am so glad somebody did something, though! It always frustrated me so much that the abuse he endured in canon when unnoticed by so many. Granted, the abuse was probably a bit less severe, canonically - neglect and verbal/emotion, primarily - but it was still there, still abuse. Ah, but people tend to be willfully blind, especially if they feel something is not their business.

OMG, little Harry is so freaking adorable. I love seeing him thriving in this story. His artwork, though, and Snape's assessment of it had me giggling. Great start! I really like it.

Another wonderful chapter! I loved Harry and Severus' frog catching adventures. Sneaking the frog home with him seemed like something a little boy would be determined to do as well as being panicked when his frog disappeared. Severus is doing a good job in being patient with Harry.
