Very good, an unnatural air about the story matched its ghostly content thank you
I just popped in to see 'recent' stories that were completed and I noticed your nick. I am not disappointed, the story is cool, although it seems to be rather abrupt in a way - everything is going so fast and there is kind of little thinking on the side of Harry -- I mean he could have reflected on his voyage into the veil. But anytway, it's a very nice story. Maybe some day you will decide to rewrite it if you feel up to the task?:)
One technical thing... There's one moment when Harry refers to Snape as 'Mr. Snape'. Kind of weird, since I think 'Professor' would be more appropriate -- as used by you in other places in this story.

Interesting take on incarnation and the afterlife, but I missed Harry meeting his parents ( I totally understand his attraction to the potion), however, maybe James and Lily are not longer beyond the veil, but reincarnated?
Good that Snape was able to pull him back, that must create a strong bond between them. Fascinating story!

I don't blame Harry for wanting to see his parents.

Very unique in that the story avoids the obvious Lily-through-the-Veil scenario and gives us interesting surprises (which I won't mention here to avoid spoilers). Nicely developed, and I love all the detail you've incorporated throughout. 😊
Nice little story, Ebb. A few things that need correcting, but I've let you know about those, already. Nice utilization of some Chinese lore.
