Hi, after reading your amazing Story "To Trust" I continued with your One Shots. They are really good as well. But I would love it, if you would write another Story from this last One Shot.
Again, brilliant. I don't know if you're going to do more in this universe, but if you do, there are people here who will enjoy reading it.
First off, this verse was the reason I finally registeredso I could post comments! I poured over To Trust.
As for this one-shot, I especially like the multi-layered meaning of the title.
Having seen Fantastic Beasts movie, I kind of likened this Harry to the character of Credence.
I generally don't like reading stories dealing with consequences of violence in which Harry is older, because I believe he would be too far gone by that point to accept that the world is not void of happiness. However, you've risen to the challenge.
In one of your A/N you mentioned suggestions for one-shots so here comes:
First year, Severus and Harry's first Christmas. Harry meeting Remus (since Sev is improving the recipe for the Wolfsbane). Aand I kind of expected to see more of 'The Talk' from To Trust. Namely, Severus mentioning knowing Lily (to imply what his role in the Potters' demise was might have been too much at that point for Harry to cope with, I admit).
I'd like the continuation of the original verse one-shots, however, I like this very much.
My reading suggestions:
Visions of Sugarplums Danced In Their Heads
This was just awesome! Great job! You capture the emotions perfectly. I look forward to another chapter or one shot.

I can imagine it was hard to write but it is brilliant! I'm not sure if Voldermort is really gone and is this why Harry can't speak? Can't wait for the next chapter!
Heartbreaking and so well written. Harry is a much more damaged boy than he was at age 10 when he was found in the original story.
OH, this was better than anything that I could imagine. So creative and heartwarming. And the best part? Harry can be honest with her and they have a chance to have a real friendship that lasts the test of time. No hiding the magical world from Jade, and she'll be one of the few that really knows harry as harry, not as TBWL. Same for Jade, she has someone that knows her history and still lover her.
I'm just going to imagine that they become a couple and live happily ever after :-)
The Hat was quite accurate in its assessment of Harry IMHO. No way was he going to be a Lion. And I've always maintained that Slytherin would ruin Harry. Just like the Hat said, it would shut down any opportunities for Harry to develop emotionally and find his own path. He would be forced to become a cold, heartless and somewhat cruel and vengeful person just to survive.
Ravenclaw is always the best choice IMHO for a kid that has even a smidgen of complexity in their personality.
