Oh, this is brilliant! I love it! I hope you'll continue writing this. I can't wait until Severus finds out about Harry being his familiar. :)
Author's Response: I was going to say "I have it all plotted out." But, as usual, my mental outline has changed quite a bit as I write. So I shall have to say, "I know how I want the story to end, and most of how I'm going to get there." Updates may slow down a bit as the last chapter is the end of what I had already finished writing when I first posted, but I have every intention of finishing.

Loved it very clever, it would be lovely to have Harry's view of Severus and the castle

Love this story. I was expecting the same old tale, but all the details of Erebus' behaviour were brilliant and really lifted it out of the ordinary. I wonder how long it will take Snape to realise who he has now that Harry/Erebus is demonstrating magic. At least he has already vowed not to treat Harry badly because of who his father was, so assuming Erebus will eventually transform back to Harry there should be a happy outcome, and I do like happy endings!
Author's Response: Thanks! I find parrots to be fascinating, and I could watch silly pet videos all day. Most of Erebus's behavior will be based off of those videos and my own childhood experience of sharing a home with an umbrella cockatoo.
I'm really enjoying your story. Interesting premise and nicely written. Looking foward to the next installment.
