Glad the panic is over it sounds very scary. A lovely chapter thank you
I think I really hate this Snape. I honestly see no redeming qualities. Blaming Harry for Lily's condition was so far over the line that there is no coming back. Combined that with his deplorable treatment of harry that could be classified as emotional and mental abuse, I just want Harry to get away from him forever. I, by turns can't wait to see how you resolve this and hope to hell that Harry draws on his pride and rejects this asshole for the rest of his life. I'm just so angry at Snape!
I almost can't decide if he knows about the way Aoife treats harry and she has his full approval or if he is so disinterested about the welfare of Harry that he knows nothing about it. I'm leaning towards him being perfectly aware and approving. And that he would be approving if he didn't know but later found out.
I hate him. And I'm usually a reader that can forgive Snape just about anything. Not this Snape though.

That was intense! Excellent job on this chapter, and as always it is great to see an update. You write so well.
I definitely think this is Aofie's true colors. She is quite malicious and step above Snape for sure. It seemed like she was taking some of her resentment of Snape out on Harry. It's like down the food chain it goes. I wonder if she will try to do something to Lily and play innocent, or have Harry take the blame?
I also wonder who cut the painting? Maybe there's more to it.
And, wow, Harry and Snape's relationship seems to be going from bad to worse. I am quite curious to see what Harry will come up with to try to get expelled from Hogwarts. Although most of the blame is on Snape, and the comment of him almost killing his mother was out of line, Harry is quite defiant as well. I can see that Snape sometimes tries, and at times is concerned. They could benefit from some outside pressure brining them together and learn to rely on each other.
Great work, great job and I can't wait for the next update.

Brilliant chapter as always!
Any idea when the next chapter will be up? This is one of my favorite fics I would hate to see it one day be abandoned. I have reread it multiple times as I keep checking back just to see if you have updated it and end up reading again haha. (Not trying to pressure you I'm just a huge fan of your work!)
Author's Response: Hi! Don't worry the story has not been abandoned! It shouldn't be too long now. I simply have five uni papers to write and I admit I feel guilty about neglecting the other regardless if I work on those or the fics. Damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess! :)
