Reviews For The Price of Atonement
Author's Response: I know! :( Poor Snape, such a Gryffindor at times.
Great writing, fantastic start to the story. I'm almost afraid to read more, no doubt Snape has many more tortures in store, and I have no idea how he could survive this night. Just what was Harry trying to do with this ritual? Oh how dearly Severus is paying now. It doesn't seem fair that he has to face all the people his potions and spells hurt. Is this his guilt conjuring these people, or do they really think him blamable for of their situation? Author's Response: We'll see a bit of Harry in the next chapter. But he does blame himself for a few deaths and he wanted a chance to apologize.
If the spirits feel that an "eye for an eye" is the way to do that, then so be it. Though I hope once he's paid the price that is done and over. No coming back again and again or inducing guilt at a later date. Since Harry hasn't really done much to need to make amends for, I wonder what would have happened if he had be allowed to complete the ritual? Author's Response: Thinking about what Harry might have faced compared to what Snape is facing totally makes it worse, doesn't it. |
