That was a quite a traumatic healing session. I wonder how Harry will recover from here. Lovely and romantic scene at the end.
I like the way that the Muggle healers led Harry through to the cause behind the Dursleys treatment of him. I wonder if the scar is part of the storm that is coming! I’ve read this wonderful before, a long time ago, so am excited to be reading it “anew”.
That was a thoroughly enjoyable chapter!
Oof, that memory was vile. Thank goodness for Snape and his superb occlumency skills. I love the dinner scene as a sign of things between Severus and Covey moving in the right direction.
Yay, I love Covey. She’s very perceptive and caring.
I despise this Dumbledore. His responses in this chapter were unfeeling and inadequate, to say the least. I hope Covey understands the position that Severus is in, and supports him!
I love the way they Snape handled the whole situation. That was beautifully done.
Severus is handling Harry so calmly and compassionately. I love that things are really heating up between Severus and Covey.
Snape’s advice was great. I really appreciate the way he’s interacting now with Harry. It feels natural and nuanced.
The horrific memories aside, I appreciated that they are causing Severus to be more introspective. I also really like his growing dynamic with Covey.
