Author's Response: You're right ;) I'm way over that hateful comments. I was well aware of the errors in this story, and that was an eye-opening moment for me as a beginner, so I taught myself to keep improving it, and now that I'm better to a degree, I'm editing the earlier chapters in hopes to make them more readable, maybe even enjoyable for other readers. Ron is my favorite character and I'm not normally a fan of character bashing, which is exactly why I chose to write this way as a challenge. You cannot imagine how glad I am that my efforts haven't gone to waste. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL COMMENT! It means the world to me.

What do you mean by your end of authors note? Whatever, the chapter was great. Now, don't act like an over-sensitive idiot. That reviewer was a f*&^%ng idiot and he shouldn't have said so. You should not be affected by what he says, such people are quite a few miles below your notice. Almost all your stories have more reviews than I have in all my stories combined, that means that you are an explicitly good writer. That guy was just a moron, who doesn't deserve you notice. You shouldn't even blink at such reviews, just go ahead and read fabulous compliments.
Author's Response: thank you for helping me gain my spirits back Fmh! i already blocked the person so i don't think it would be a problem, but i will do that if it continues...i am in awe too, we have such talented bunch here and i have loved them from the very beginning, gain i'm flattered that you think so, don't worry! i will continue on and try to toughen up and deal with pests! i love you too and please stay tuned!!

Last chapter, I felt Harry was being utterly selfish, wallowing in his self-pity. Now that I look at it, it's only been 2 or 3 freaking days since the accident. What should I expect? I just really, /really/ hope Harry will prove to be the strong, amazing boy we all know him to be, and forgive Severus and Janet. As for this chapter... How could you leave me hanging like that!? Severus this-freaking-close to Harry, then you changed scenes on me! Oh, the suspense is killing me! Thank you for another chapter as well as the light saber. Worked beautifully, once I figured out how to turn the bloody thing on /without/ taking my own head off. Unfortunately, I did take out the wooden ladder you sent... (~.^) Author's Response: oh boy, i think i shouldn't have sent the light saber, are you sure you can work with it? i'll send a first aid just in case. Lucius is...Lucius. i think he's not afraid to call anyone on their crap and also he's a jerk, and a slytherin, i think his combination with the canines and Janet in a confined place would be hilarious, cool, and sorta heart warming? Harry is fourteen. when i was writing him i tried to channel my inner teenage self without being obnoxious or unrealistic, and considering it's only been like 3 days..? i guess the reactions were appropriate. but don't worry, Harry will be back to his wonderful charming self soon enough (hint next chapter,wink) quick question; have you tried light sabering your way out by carving into the cave? i think the blade is strong enough....
It really pisses me off to see someone disregard a person like that. To say it to someone's face isn't okay, and the internet doesn't somehow magically make it okay. As I say, there are a thousand different ways to say things, and /that/ was not one of them. Thank you for not giving up. There will always be "good" authors and "bad" authors, but there will never be another /you/. Write. Whether it be Harry Potter fanfiction or something of your own. Don't let stupid, heartless people, hiding behind screens, tell you you can't. Because you, and only you, can continue "Start of time" and "Looking of stars" and whatever else is cooking in you creative brain. I hope I have said something to lift your spirits. Besides, I really want to see a happy ending for Harry, Severus and Janet. (~.^) Author's Response: lifting my spirits? you set me on fire Draco ;) i'm BACK! your review was like that beacon of light that needed to get me back on track,and man, am i on a roll now! i'm gonna be honest it was a strange mood, and a crappy couple of weeks for me, and you couldn't be more right, i shouldn't let this get to me, if i'm gonna continue then i should man up and take the crap cause there always will be jerks like that. by the way, i can't wait to read your stories, if ever you decide to publish them ;) please do! since personally i hate abandoned stories i would of course finish both stories, /and/ i am finishing a couple more when my classes starts so you guys should be fine! and you will see the happy ending Harry and sev deserve, and an early chapter cause A. i'm writing like crazy, B. for your wonderful, spirit lifting and eye opening nudge i needed, here have a hug ;) |
