"You seek trouble out." Lovely play on words! But what I really enjoy is how you show Harry finally understanding what "family" really is-- beautifully done! And as a writer, I can appreciate what goes into explicating what may seem obvious, but is still challenging to translate into actual, detailed narrative. Thank you! 😊
Absolutely loved descriptions of all the brooms! And, oh! can I relate to Justin's glass cleaning!!! I used to work retail furniture, and people ALWAYS had to test the thickness of the glass-topped tables, leaving fingerprints top & bottom! But there was a 2-year-old girl who actually LICKED every glass table she came to, leaving toddler SLIME on the glass! Some of the nastiest stuff I ever had to clean in that lovely store! Poor Justin!

Whoa!!! Drama, drama, DRAMA!!! Powerful chapter, full of unexpected twists! Love it!
"polite company" -- and then Lucius sneers at Harry... Sarcasm, or slip of the tongue? An admonishment aimed at Draco, certainly, but I had to laugh at Lucius Malfoy using "polite" in that particular context! 😉 The rest of the story really has grabbed my attention, and I'm eager to see how it plays out.

I feel like he's got good intentions but the second snape gets angry and doesn't want harry anymore, Dumbledore will send him straight back to the dursleys. He still doesn't actually care that Harry's not safe or happy there as long as he's got lilys protection against voldemort. That lack of care that neglect puts Dumbledore in a "do not trust " column for me

Dangit! I wanna be happy that severus is going to take him but I'm crying and that makes me upset so I'm more angry that severus and Dumbledore are the entire flicking reason that harry is in this potion in the first place! How dare he talk about Harry's grades when it's he who flunks the boy! How dare Dumbledore pretend he didn't see that dog (I'm pretty sure he saw the dog when he was in Harry's room) long before now and held this like a freaking Trump card. God! I just hate em all. And screw podmore too! He quits on harry for what? Irs not like anyone knew Sirius was an animagus so how could harry know?

It's literally 11:58pm right now and I want to go to sleep sooooo bad but I keep finishing one chapter and clicking next before I realize it! I admit I'm hoping for friendly draco but I doubt it with lucious hanging around

I absolutely loved this story. It is one of my favorites. You are a very gifted writer and I really hope this story gets a sequal.
Fortunately you have other amazing stories for us to read in the meantime :p
