Rose is fun. I'm looking forward to finding out how she adapts to Hogwarts (or Hogwarts adapts to her). At least she alreade has some friends in Hermione and Ron.
Author's Response: I am admittedly not sure if I will write about Rose at Hogwarts, since most of the interaction between Harry and Snape will be in the summer holidays ... perhaps I can put it into an epilogue. :)

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you like Rose, adding one's own characters to fanfic has always been a bit controversial, especially with main characters.
I like the growing relationship between Rose and the trio. Of course, no one pointed out that the Gryffindors may shun the trio if they hang around with a Slytherin.

And of course no one pointed it out - the trio are clever enough to notice that being shunned might be a problem, but much too Gryffindor to ever care about it happening to them themselves. They'll stand by their friends no matter what.
(Rose would point it out if she had been immersed in house politics for longer, but right now, she can't imagine anyone disliking her new friends and half-brother.)
