Aww I'm so glad that Harry noticed Eli missed dinner and is taking some out for him. Did Eli fall asleep? He sure had a bad day. I am actually amused somewhat at how easy it was to be a bad day, and how good of a day it was for Harry in return. I really enjoy Professor Chen and calling Severus out on singling out Harry and other Gryffindors. Whoo!!

Hehe so Eli got a taste of a better potions teacher.... I hope he learns from her teaching style. Honestly he should study her and learn because it seems like she might be one of the best. It serves Dumbledore right to have to pay Snape's wages himself. I enjoyed Minerva winning that one.

I wonder if the Felix Felicis is going to be important later. Although, the brewing cycle will take Snape past the time when he's still Eli, so probably not. My guess is that this is Snape wanting to do something nice for them before he goes away to be a professor again.

Excellent way for Severus to realise what a fool he has been. I loved the way he changed Lily’s name and placed James’ bottle near her. I wonder when he will realise why Harry is so thin?
Author's Response: im really glad you liked it! it felt great to finally write this chapter and i thought that lily's name and putting james' bottle near hers was a good way for him to show his closure over the situation. and he will definitely be realizing that, but not for a couple chapters yet! thank you for the review!

I have to say, not a big fan of the memory organisation plot, feels like a bit of a cop out for his behaviour and too easy, just my opinion. HOWEVER, the writing was exquisite and really easy to understand, so cool how you managed to explain it so clearly! Amanda speaking so candidly to Sev was hilarious, I hope her situation improves for her sake, she deserves more. And I was NOT ready for Sev to change back, so glad Dumbledore had to leave. Too bad for him but, well, he's gotta suffer for our amusement. Heh. Thanks for the much longer chapter!

Amanda's definitely going to be reoccurring– she was too much fun to write to let her go that easily. And Severus definitely has more things to come to terms with before I'll let him become /himself/ again.
