Although strange, this is a very sweet story.

AHHHHHHHH! I LOVE THIS! Im so glad that you chose to respond to my challenge. This is amazing! You did awesome! I'm glad I'm not the only one to think that Snape's Daemon is a panther! (Also, my name is Sam, so having Harry's Daemon name as Samson or "Sam" is awesome) A new fave!

I’m a big fan of Phillip Pullman’s world and when I saw your idea to introduce this to the world of Harry Potter I was immediately on board! Yes! Snape is very panther-like isn’t he?!? Oh wow! I intend to convert this little one shot into a multi chapter fic with a bit more of a story behind it, so if you have any further ideas on where I could take this AU I’d love to hear from you!!! Wow, I loved the emotions in this! Loved the descriptions of the little soul animals. I wish Jana would give Samson comfort too. Snape is usually more reserved. I could see his "soul" unconsciously being nicer to Harry and Samson without it being too obvious. Loved this little snippet. Thanks for writing and sharing!

I’m too lazy to go back and edit it though, but don’t worry I intend to make a multi chapter fic based on the world of his dark materials and will definitely create a relationship between the pair unconsciously through their daemons! Interesting - everyone's daemon is the opposite sex, except Harry's. I wonder if that means something?
Malfoy is such a horrible person - making fun of someone's soul has got to be the rudest thing ever!
Poor Harry! And poor Snape. You know you are messed up when you have to tell children to not be like you.

I don't know what you were worried about Alicia, this is great! I loved it and I agree, you should definitely continue this once the challenge is over. I loved Snape's portrayal in this, and Samson was just precious.
