Bit confused as you already had Harry go to Grimauld place in the chapter before and then had it in here like it was new...so that was a bit wierd. However, liked the chapter and can't wait for Snapes reaction to being tortured by Umbridge. Author's Response: im glad you like my minerva!! so this chapter picks up at the end of chapter 2 and covers the same span of time as chapter 3, just from Snape's perspective instead of harry's, if that makes sense. I really hope that they get enough evidence to kick Umbridge out. I'm worried that since Snape doesn't have his wand, that Umbridge will catch on and do something to harm Harry, more than the usual detention, which would of course be worse for Severus. Yikes! What a predicament. But of course, this is so in character for Snape. Truly a brave man. Thanks for the update! Great pace. I really like the plan that Severus and Minerva came up with. Author's Response: he's already starting to have his eyes opened about Harry, just from walking around the hallways! (picture Harry striding around Hogwarts, robes billowing behind him, Snape-style, and try not to laugh, I dare you) I can tell you that this fic only has two chapters remaining, so I think that says something about Umbridge's chances after this... and yeah I had to make Snape leave his wand behind otherwise I just couldn't see the detention going the way I had it pictured and the way Snape and McGonagall plan it to, so it made sense for him to leave it behind– for the sake of the plan. Which also speaks to his bravery, I certainly wouldn't want to go spend time under the power of a known sadist while unarmed. Thank you so much for the review!!
