That was a memorable Christmas for Harry and probably Snape. It must have been the first time in a long while that either had anything resembling a family for the holiday.

Congratulations on finishing your studies, well done. A lovely chapter I loved Severus’s way of organising memories. I worked with special needs pupils and they often had problems organising their information in order to retrieve it. I would work on giving them ideas and handles in order to retrieve the information they wanted. Not quite what Severus had in mind for Harry but the same principle.

The occlumency lesson was interesting. Clearly it wasn't what Harry was expecting. I wonder if Snape would be better off letting Harry do some minor chores if it makes him feel better? Next chapter may tell me the answer.
Author's Response: it had to be unexpected to be effective because the OG occlumency lessons were not any good, and it would make harry feel better but at the cost of reinforcing harry's mindset that he has to earn his keep

Snort. If Harry feels the need to do chores, he needs to come to my house. I have plenty to keep him busy. Seriously though, I was surprised that Harry is going to let down his guard enough to try occlumency again. Snape must have been surprised, too.
Author's Response: harry's viewing occlumency as a way to atone for fucking up in the previous year... he's not /really/ planning to learn anything, he's being self-destructive :(
