Great ending! I love the staff meeting, if that was what it was, and Severus’s musings very entertaining thank you
"You're killing me, Smalls!" Lol, I had to say that. I take it that Parvati and Lavender feel sorry for Ariel? It seems like they've picked up on "things" that Ariel hasn't noticed (or maybe just doesn't want to). I know not having pierced ears isn't indicative of not having a loving home, but it makes me wonder what else Pavarti and Lavender have noticed-and maybe even others? And Petunia ripping up Ariel's artwork...I'd see her doing that just because, but it does make me wonder what exactly was in the pictures. Flitwick dropping that tidbit about the letter! Plot-twist! Now we KNOW Snape HAS to get involved! He could've perhaps ignored the bit about Lily including him in her letter, but not this. Snape grabbing her wrist like that...I feel like he's taking her to Dumbledore, and who knows where that encounter will go! It also makes me wonder why Dumbledore is holding back on his knowledge about the truth of Ariel and Snape. Ugh. So many questions! Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: I think with Parvarti and Lavender, they're very much the stereotypical girly-girls, and Ariel confuses them because she doesn't know any of the latest trends or basics of being a normal 11 year old. I'm sure they've picked up on something not being quite right with Ariel, but they're kids, and assume she's just odd, but they do their best to include her. It just comes off the wrong way, sometimes. It's a maturity thing, too. As for Snape, you KNOW he eventually will have to get involved, or his head will explode. He can't handle anything, especially if all this Lily-stuff is being brought up after a decade. I feel bad, Snape really has no idea what he's in for!
