Beautifully done.
Author's Response: Thanks so much!
A beautiful understanding. I love the way that the natural environment mirrors Harry’s mood and reflections. So much is conveyed from so little.
Author's Response: thank you so much for your thoughtful review! I'm glad you liked this fic!
Love this! Beautifully written

This story is beauty incarnate! First of all your descriptions of the snowy forest with its marriage of nature and magic were breathtaking. The way it’s so wet and dark and muddy fits Harry’s grief perfectly. Then the flower... like hope springing forth :) I love how Snape follows Harry but barely speaks, just lingers in the shadows... and when he does speak it is so meaningful. You captured both characters so well. Harry hating him... but also feeling like he is the only one who understands... it was RICH with depth. Please please write more you wonderful author you!
Author's Response: Hi angelmoon girl! thank you so much for your thoughtful review of my fic. I really like to write nature into my stories and probably tend to get metaphorical about it all :) I'm so happy you liked the fic! I have a few other HP fics on here and dabble in other fandoms as well under different pennames, but encouragement like this always helps me write so much better. thanks!

This is amazing, and made me cry at 11:30 at night. Your words are powerful. You make your words so relatable, so realistic, it's as your there, your Harry. Beautiful.
Author's Response: Oh thank you so much! I'm so pleased you liked this fic. I know it's short but I can't not write Snape looking out for Harry in his own way. Thank you for your beautiful comment :)
