Oh, I loved it. Nice of Snape to warm the classroom, listen to Harry, and explain Wizarding Christmas.
The only confusion I had was what year this took place in. It seemed like first year because of the knapsack, but it talked about multiple years.

Wow! What atmosphere!! I could FEEL the cold in the dungeons! Nice revelation as Snape slowly discerned that Harry wasn't quite the boy he'd always presumed him to be. Also, very interesting introduction of the Fates through the three candles; now Harry has new ideas to occupy his holidays! A great form of distraction, to say the least. And if he doesn't get out and about... 😉 This could be the preamble to a longer story, if you're ever tempted to continue the storyline's development. Thanks!
