Thank you a lovely chapter. I loved the interaction with Hedwig, and that she was still alive, I feared for her.
Author's Response: Glad you liked it, I think Hedwig is a fighter and quite protective of Harry, got to let her have a bit of character and owlish pride

Ingenious plan, but what about the Horcrux? Thank you for this version
Author's Response: Thank you. The idea is that now Severus knows there's some kind of malevolent spirit inside of Harry he is aware and can research it when he's on the road to recovery since not much is known about Horcrux's and find a way to safely destroy it. I've not really decided on how since we don't know of any other methods other than using basilisk venom or fiendfyre. I've read some creative solutions such as him finding an ancient potion recipe to destroy it or surgically removing it by severing the nerves and flushing the scar with basilisk venom. Both sound like good ideas so I'd perhaps go down a similar route whilst trying to make it my own, although he wouldn't be able to readily access basilisk venom without discovering the chamber of secrets.
Yay a time turner! Yes, Harry needs a second chance. I'm loving the premise of this story. I am so glad that you decided to continue and rewrite the tradegy. Well done.
Author's Response: Thanks, yes the original sad story needed to be told but I had the idea for what would happen to the Horcrux after he died (all the evidence points to that this wouldn't happen but I wanted to write the idea) and the imagery of Severus finding a very ill Harry abandoned in his cupboard and I guess it grew from there with a bit of rule-bending on the time turners
