Whoa... Dumbledore doesn't pull his punches! And yet, he tries to effect a resolution to Snape's problem. Or does he? (You never know what that crafty old wizard has up his roomy sleeves...) I admit I'm curious as to why Snape didn't buy back his watch at some point throughout the years. He might not have been able to afford it early on, but after he began teaching... It obviously means so much to him. And certainly his animosity toward Harry is playing into the situation, too. But to have Snape caught red-handed... I nearly jumped when DD cleared his throat! Keep on! I'm enjoying this story immensely! 😁

Love the detail of Locker 7! And Snape's motivation -- not just wanting his watch back, but the idea that he doesn't want to die without it, given that it's the only tangible thing left of his mother's love. But Dumbledore is watching... 😳 Really enjoying the suspense!

Interesting! I like the challenge that shadowienne posed. I can understand Snape’s obsession with the watch, and it will be fun to see if (and how) he gets it back. I wonder if he’ll learn something about Harry in the process.
