Nicely written conversation between Harry and Severus.
The first difficult conversation choked me up in a way that stories rarely do. It was beautiful, raw, poignant, and deeply needed. I’ve never seen that particular pairing for a conversation navigated with such tenderness and care. Harry’s revelation felt natural in the aftermath of that conversation and from the alternate aunt that he’s been dreaming of throughout the story. Snape’s change feels natural as well and I hope that Harry can learn to open up to him, given how he’s used to hiding his pain and difficulties. I was so focused on getting to this point that I find myself wondering how far you will take this story from here. My hope is that there is much left to come for the development of their relationship, Harry’s trust, Harry and Neville’s project and partnership, and Harry’s growth in potions and harvesting knowledge. I look forward to seeing how this all plays out. Thanks so very much for these amazing updates!
First off, sorry for the review... explosion in the last chapter. Not sure what happened, my internet went bonkers and then there were suddenly tons of reviews when I only clicked it once.
Anyway, I want so badly for Harry to thrive, and I know Severus can help him with that. Harry you stubborn child, just... GAH stop being so... stubborn? Just tell him what you need.
