The first difficult conversation choked me up in a way that stories rarely do. It was beautiful, raw, poignant, and deeply needed. I’ve never seen that particular pairing for a conversation navigated with such tenderness and care. Harry’s revelation felt natural in the aftermath of that conversation and from the alternate aunt that he’s been dreaming of throughout the story. Snape’s change feels natural as well and I hope that Harry can learn to open up to him, given how he’s used to hiding his pain and difficulties. I was so focused on getting to this point that I find myself wondering how far you will take this story from here. My hope is that there is much left to come for the development of their relationship, Harry’s trust, Harry and Neville’s project and partnership, and Harry’s growth in potions and harvesting knowledge. I look forward to seeing how this all plays out. Thanks so very much for these amazing updates!

Ok, so all of these chapters have been amazing, and they just kept getting better with each one being released - but this one.. this is my favorite by far.
I love that Severus is FINALLY seeing the light and now maybe Harry can get the help he so desperate needs and deserves. Also, I love the librarian, she's a sweetheart. I'm so glad she saw what was going on and was able to help him to safety.
Loved this chapter. I especially like that the librarian is a heroine. My mom was a librarian.
Thanks for this pivotal chapter, and for making it a wonderfully long one! I was beyond thrilled to see this update. I love how things clicked into place for Snape. His contemplations at the end showed just how differently he’s thinking now. I absolutely loved the takeaway system and scene. It was beautiful and touching. I also loved Harry’s interactions with Mrs. Clarke. Thanks again for this amazing and satisfying chapter. I’m excited to see that there’s another chapter in the offing! I'm glad the Head Boy and Head Girl are from different houses. I've always thought that it was unfair that Gryffindor had both spots when Lily and James were students.
I laughed when you advised how to pronounce Aoife's name. It's a common Irish name, but you're right - English speakers might have no idea how to say it.
