It makes sense that Harry would be having trouble coping after the war. Thanks for detailing his struggles so well.

Author's Response: Thank you <3 it is definitely an important part of this fic, for Harry and Severus.

I like the way you’ve depicted Minerva here.

Author's Response: Thank you! Minerva will be quite prominent in this fic.

Oh dear! Arthur seems right out of character here. It’s usually Molly who is unreasonable, well done for adding an unexpected twist.

Author's Response: Actually, for a post-war scenario, I think Arthur's behavior (and even Severus' here for that matter), is quite reasonable. We've seen this capability from him during CoS with Lucious at the bookstore. But now we have an Arthur who has just lost a son a month prior, Ginny who was recently kidnapped and tortured, and Ron who had fled for months prior to the battle, with another injured son (two, if you count Bill). Understandably, he's very protective over his family. And he never saw Severus' memories and only trusts Harry's word. Well, barely. There's still a lot of broken trusts there between Arthur and Severus.

It's interesting to see Arthur being implacably opposed to Snape - usually he's written as forgiving.

Author's Response: Before the war, he would have been. After a war? It changes a lot in a person. He is just being protective of his family.

I know a lot of people with such mental illnesses. I myself have a few. I wouldn't have been surprised to find out Potter had.

    Author's Response: Oh, definitely!

Thank you an interesting chapter with a lot of information. I don’t think Severus can be at the memorial in the open, and how can they check for polyjuiced aurors

Author's Response: This ritual is indeed a very complex one!

Thank you. I found the conversation with George so moving, thank you.

Author's Response: Thank you so much <3 I wanted to give some screen time to other characters who are mourning as well, and how grief is affecting everyone after the war.

    Nooooooo...

Author's Response: I know I know, I'm terrible XD I'm about to publish the next chapter, so it'll be all worth it!

I’m so pleased that this chapter dealt with the Malfoys. Draco’s attitude is understandable but frustrating for Severus. Thank you a great chapter but a cliffie at the end, I hope Hermione can sort him out.

Author's Response: Ah, the Malfoys - well, mainly Draco - will have a bit of an important role in this story.

A good understanding of what would have happened if he had lived. I’m so glad Elias has a family to care for him. Thank you for an excellent chapter

    Author's Response: Thank you!
