So cool and cute story d84;
Awwww, what a sweet story with a positive ending.
LOL at Snape asking if he looked like Oliver Wood.
The only question remaining, is what happened to Hedwig? Is she okay?
Great story otherwise, I really enjoyed it. thanks for writing and posting it.
Author's Response: Good question. Here's what I imagine:
Hedwig took a while to recover on her own, but eventually made her way back to Hogwarts and Harry. Let us imagine that she showed up one day at breakfast, and Snape was the first person Harry turned to with a large smile as she nipped a kipper off of his plate.
Wow, fantastic writing. I love this Harry. The way Snape took care of him, getting him a meal, clothes, a shower, and taking him back to Hogwarts was wonderful. He could of brought Harry back filthy but then the other students would see. Snape was really decent.
Poor Hedwig though. I hope that she got to safety. Maybe she was found when they went to 4 Privet Drive to look for Harry?
It's really too bad about the cloak being burned. That was an heirloom, an irreplaceable item. Everything else could be replaced but that.
I hope that Harry will get a new broom at least.
Who will take Harry shopping? I hope Snape. :)
I love this beginning, Snape having to pretend that Harry is his son to ward of the Muggle lady. This wild Harry is an interesting change, I like it. I wonder where all his magical stuff is.
