Not entirely sure to think of this one. I feel it was a little abrupt, for the most part.
I certainly enjoyed it, no worries there, I just feel it was a little short and didn't take enough of Cannon!Potter to feel.. complete. I mean - Harry is suposed to fulfill a prophecey (which had been hinted at in the first four books before it was revealed in the fifth) and it was he who was supposed to kill Voldemort - rather than a deity.
You could have pulled this out a lot longer, and used some of the NZ magic far more interestingly - for instnace, it would have been facinating for Harry to learn some NZ magic and taken it back to Hogwarts with him (unless of course, you do that in the sequel, which I am about to go and read).
Over-all a pleasent read, but a little too short and abrupt, and killing off Voldemort and the Death Eaters in such a way, kind of took all the fun out of it.
Hrm/ Off to read teh sequel now, though, because I did enjoy it - and all the NZ stuff was incredibly interesting.

An excellent beginning! I can easily tell that this is going to be one I enjoy. You are more than adept at writing, and have managed to give an original twist to a common plot. I'm impressed. Yours, a Guest

I really wanted Harry to have a human family. It didn't really work out for Harry like I wanted. He made friends, Voldie died Sirius wasn't really cleared though, hunh? Anyway, you write really well. Hope the damn security code doen't eat my commentsl.. Thanks

That was really good. I only wish that Severus would have been a little more welcoming than he was but I guess that's his personality. I do think Harry would do better with him than with Sirius. Sirius just isn't very responsible, in his words or actions. Anyway, wonderful story. I'm glad I found it.
