Absolutely terrific story. I was enthralled from beginning to end. All the characters were interesting, yet did not take over the story and distract from the Snape-Harry interaction. And Snape was very in character. <br><br> The formating needs some work, but I'm giving this one a 10. One of the best gen reads I read in a long time.

Yey! I found it! This is, without a doubt, the best Harry/Severus non-slash gauridan fictions I've ever had the pleasure of coming across..but then I lost it o.O. I couldn't for the life of me find it on Fanfiction.net (having read it there the first time) but huzzah!! I prospered! And despite having to Google an infinite amount of keywords on a multitude of different sites, I can honestly say it's well worth it!

OMG!! IT'S THE BEST STORY THAT I HAVE EVER READ BY FAR! AND NO I AM NOT JUST SAYING THAT!
I have read over 2000 stories (no easy feat let me tell you) and I have never been more captivated in a story than this one!

This story.. this... I cannot form a coherent story after finishing this! This was fabulous, and so many other things. I laughed, I cried, and I'm dead serious, there. The "battle" scene had me digging for the Kleenex. I did so very much enjoy this HIGHLY original piece of fiction, and I commend your abilities as a writer. *smiles*

This is fantastic. I have stayed up most of the night to finish this. It is twnety to two in the morning and yet I'm smiling. Your writing is beautiful, and fluid. Descriptions are well written and characterisations, especially the original one's are very human. Helen was just a lovely touch and made me smile. You've done a wonderful job and I applaud your hard work. Keep it up.

This has got to be the best fanfiction I have ever read reguarding Snape/Harry guradian roles in a unique setting. *sighs happily* The plot was a well worn one in it's most basic form and I am more than pleased in the way you've spiced it up with a rich and captivating world of belivable charcters, ancient legend, and undeniable truths. I can't believe this hasn't gotten more reviews! I'm beside myself, really. I don't know where to begin in my praises for your work. The characters are all believable and endering, even Voldemort! (yes he is endearing in a twisted way. . .and might I add his blood play sent a very happy chill down my spine. Bravo) Rona has to be, by far, my favorite OC in this story. Chad is lovely and all but Rona has the bark, bite, and mean righthook! (or left, the girl packs a punch) And Grandmother, (*pays her respects*), was so chillingly protective. I'm just elated that Severus had someone that truly loved and believed in him in two such strong women (type) characters. Between Rona and Grandmother. . .wow. Voldemort didn't stand a chance. (*is upset that she can't make paragraphs like she wants in fear of it being wayyyyyyyyy to cluttered*) And Harry-bear was just perfect. Bloody perfect. *hugs him* And I must say, and yes I have a thing for men getting their butts handed to them, when Rona decked Sirius and then pounced, I was all but rolling in the floor and cheering her on to boot. Brilliant work. Mighty brilliant. I seriouly hope that you plan to publish more in the way of stories in this archive for our reading enjoyment, because I am now a fan for life. ~tattered tinker
