A very nice chapter and I'm interested in seeing where you will go with this. The use of mythology is a nice addition to the story, but it can easily be overdone. You haven't crossed that line although at times you do start to come close - there was a portion where I wanted to skim ahead where there was the ritual bit with Hermione ... it was short enough but it came close to losing my attention.

Of course I will be very happy when I get to read the next chapter but I don't want you to feel pressured in any way at all - your PhD is so much more important! Good luck with that and update when you have time.
