Welcome to Diagon Alley by Song of the Sea
Author's Notes:
Nine years have passed since my previous story "Welcome to the Family"
It's been nine years since Astranova revealed to be a parseltongue. Since she and Draco were so close in age, Remus and Sev decided to have a joint birthday party for them. Now that they were less than a month away from starting Hogwarts, it was time for them to head to Diagon Alley for school shopping.

"Draco! Astra! It's time to go to Diagon Alley for your school supplies!" Remus called up the stairs to their children.

"Come on, darlings! You want to be able to choose your pets don't you?" Severus called up after him, earning the pitter-patter of two pairs of feet. Draco's hair has grown to just below his shoulders and his ice blue eyes were filled with mischief, while Astranova's red hair has grown to her middle back and her forest green eyes were wide with excitement. Their fair, pale skin glowed in the candlelight as they leapt at their parents. Remus had Draco, and Severus had Astranova.

"Okay," Severus chuckled, adjusting Astranova on his hip. "let's get going. Ready, Starshine?"

Astra nodded her head frantically, making them all laugh at how her hair flew into her face.

Remus carried Draco over to the Floo, grabbed some Floo powder, and yelled, "Diagon Alley!". Severus did the same and the family landed in one of the shops, Flourish & Botts. Severus had changed so much over the years. Now, his white hair reached his knees and had to tie it in a braid with the ribbon, and he's gotten more gentle and motherly with his students. Now, all of the students at Hogwarts love him as a professor and no longer call him a greasy git or dungeon bat.

After buying their school books, the group went to Madam Malkin's Robe Shop to buy their school robes. But when they got there, a family of redheads was already there.

"Hogwarts, dear?" Madam Malkins asked the family of four as they entered.

"Yes, ma'am. Our son and daughter are starting Hogwarts," Remus explained gesturing to Draco and Astranova.

Madam Malkin clapped. "Perfect! Just wait until I finish up with Ron and I'll attend to you. Remus, your children are absolutely adorable!"

The two children blushed in pleasure and waited for Madam Malkin to finish.

One of the red heads walked up and introduced himself. "Hello. My name's Fred Weasley. This is my family, Molly, George, Ginny, and Percy Weasley. Ron's the one on the platform. What are your names, if you don't mind my asking?"

"I'm Draconis Ravenclaw-Prince, and this is my sister, Astranova Ravenclaw-Prince. Nice to meet you, Fred." Draco introduced holding out his hand.

Fred shook his hand and planted a light kiss on Astranova's hand. She blushed and smiled warmly, making her beauty even more enhanced.

Severus smiled at his daughter and knew that she was going to be a real gem when she's older. He doesn't care which boy tries to catch her attention, as long as he's treating her right. He's the more soft-spoken parent while Remus plays 'big bad wolf' when it comes to his children's safety.

Ron, when he was done getting fitted for his robes, went on and on about how great he was, never noticing how Astranova was looking at him with disgust written all over her face.

How We Met by Song of the Sea
Author's Notes:
This chapter details how Remus and Severus got together. I'll do a separate story on it, but for now, this is what you'll get.
It was the night before Draco and Astranova started Hogwarts, but Astra had a question for their parents.

Severus chuckled as he and Remus placed their children in bed, but before he could say 'good night', Astra spoke up.

"Mummy? How did you and Daddy get together? You told us that you went to Hogwarts together, but that was it. What happened?" his 11 year old daughter asked, looking at Severus from her bed with curious green eyes. Draco was curious as well. How did their parents get together?

Remus shared a look with his husband that said 'we were going to have to tell them at some point'.

"Well, sweetheart, your mother and I did go to Hogwarts together. He was a Slytherin and I was a Gryffindor. Your Uncle Padfoot, Prongs, and Auntie Jamila were Gryffindors as well. Their real names were Sirius, James, and Lily. But your Uncle James and Uncle Sirius liked to bully your mother. They nearly caused him to lose his friendship with Lily,if it weren't for me stepping in. I realized that I was in love with him during my fourth year and I didn't want him or Lily to be hurt. So, I stepped in," Remus began.

(Flashback starts)
James held Severus upside down by his robes with a spell and pulled his trousers down, revealing his underpants. Severus has never been so embarrassed in his life. Lily tried to help him down, but Remus beat her to it.

"James Fleamont Potter!! Leave Severus alone now!" he yelled furiously, much to the shock of his friends.

"Moony, no. He was bothering me so I have to do something about it," James stubbornly insisted, which was a bad idea because that just made Remus angrier than he already is.

"HE HAS DONE NOTHING TO YOU!!!" Remus roared, finally reaching his limit.

"Moony.." Sirius was shocked. Remus had never shouted at anybody, not even his own friends.

"No, Padfoot. I'm speaking my mind and everyone standing here will listen, including the professors. For too long, all of you have thought that if you're not a Gryffindor, you're not honest and loyal. We ALL have traits of the four houses. You, Prongs, and Wormtail have the cunning and deception of a serpent, I have the intelligence of an eagle, and Lily has the loyalty of a badger," Remus started, stopping James, Peter, and Sirius in their tracks.

Some of the other students that were there couldn't help but agree with him because he was right. James, Sirius, and Peter act nice, but strike like a cobra when your back is turned. They study their opponents and use their weakness to their advantage. Lily was a sweet and kind girl who saw the best of everybody, especially her childhood friend and brother in all but blood. Severus didn't love Lily anymore than as a friend and a sister.

Lily was secretly glad that she and Severus talked about how they felt about one another and agreed to stay siblings and friends, not that James would ever care. Remus was smart and sharp-witted, but when his friends stepped out of line, one glare from him or Lily stopped them in their tracks. But he wasn't finished yet.

"Here's something you never knew: Slytherin House has the record for the highest number of abused children."

Every single person in the area gasped in shock and horror. Magical children being abused is the highest crime one could ever commit! Who would dare do something like this?

"Bella's parents punish her with the Cruciatus curse, Lucius has been blackmailed by his father and his mother and younger sister were murdered by the very same man who abused him. And before you ask, I know this because I took the time to get to know the Slytherins and I found out that they're just like us. Since we won't be their family, they become their own family. If we won't defend them, they have to defend themselves. The way we treat them makes us no better than their parents."

James felt like he was just punched in the gut. But, he just had to have the last laugh. "But what about Snivellus? What does he have to say about this?"

Remus released the spell holding Severus upside down and caught him as he fell. Once he was back on his feet, Severus looked at James, but there was something different about him. His eyes were a bright forest green instead of the obsidian black they all knew.

"My name is Severus Glacier Ravenclaw-Prince, adopted son of Lady Hecate and six times great-grandson of Rowena Ravenclaw," Severus revealed before whispering a 'finite incantatum'.

His greasy black locks disappeared to reveal snowy white hair that reached below the shoulder blades, the skin was a pale color and his nose was button-like.

"I love Lily, James, but I only love her as a friend and a sister. The person I really love is standing in front of me," the Ravenclaw heir explained looking at Remus fondly.

Lily spoke up for the first time since this whole mess started. "I won't go out with you until you, Sirius and Peter get your acts together, you arrogant toerags. In case you forgot, Merlin was a Slytherin too, and you don't talk bad about him. Face it. Good wizards can come from Slytherin as well. Come on Sev, Remus. Let's get away from these bullies."

With a huff, the trio stormed down the hallway arm in arm, leaving the remaining spectators with much to think about and reflect on.

"We started dating after that, and on the Christmas during our 7th year, I proposed. Two years later, we married and a few months later, you and Draco came along." Remus concluded, only to see that his husband, son, and daughter were fast asleep.

He chuckled and shook his head in amusement. "Sweet dreams, you three."

Placing a blanket over Severus, he quietly exited the room.

The Sorting by Song of the Sea
Author's Notes:
This is the chapter where Draco and Astranova finally arrive at Hogwarts and get Sorted into their Houses. But, the Sorting Hat has a special gift for the Ravenclaw-Prince family.
In all their years as the proud parents of two children, Severus and Remus never thought that they could be anymore proud of their kids because today is the day that they arrive at Hogwarts.

The hustle and bustle inside Ravenclaw Castle signified that the young heir and heiress were about to depart for the train station to board the Hogwarts Express at Platform 9 3/4.

"Your father and I are so proud of you two. Know that we'll still love you no matter what House you get sorted into," Severus explained to his children as they entered the platform.

"Even if we're sorted into Gryffindor?" Draco asked nervously, sneaking a glance at his little sister. The two of them were practically twins since they were born during the same year.

"Even if you're sorted into Gryffindor." Remus nodded and ushered them onto the train.

Severus looked up at his children and smiled at them softly from the platform as they looked at him through the window. "We'll see you at Hogwarts, Starshine. Have a safe train ride."

At the next whistle, the train departed from the station. Draco and Astranova were sitting in their compartment afew minutes into the ride when a woman came by asking if they wanted anything off the trolley. Both of them bought plenty of sandwiches for lunch, pumpkin pasties and cauldron cakes for later and they were enjoying their treats when the obnoxious redhead boy from the robe shop burst in without knocking, startling Astranova into tears.

Ron sneered at her and glared while turning up his nose. "Why is a crybaby like you coming to Hogwarts?"

"Leave us alone, Weasley. My sister and I have done nothing to you. You are the one who burst into our compartment without permission and started antagonizing us. Now leave before I hex you." Draco ordered holding his little sister while glaring darkly at the intruder.

It was enough to scare off the intruder but not without a parting glare. During the next few hours, some of the siblings' friends joined them in the compartment. Among them were Daphne Greengrass, Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini, and Hermione Granger. When they arrived at Hogwarts, Hagrid was there directing the first years to the boats.

Sailing across the Black Lake, Astranova couldn't help but play in the water as they glided by. Briefly, the reflection of her mother smiling at her and Draco with their father in the background flashed on the water's surface. She smiled softly. Both of their parents were teaching at Hogwarts, and both of her and Draco were the heirs of Ravenclaw and Prince. But she was also the heiress of Slytherin due to her ability to speak to snakes.

Before long, the troupe of boats made it to Hogwarts where a stern looking witch was waiting for them.

"The first years, Pruf. McGonagall," Hagrid said.

"Thank you, Hagrid." was the curt reply. She turned to the students and told them to follow her. Behind Astranova's back, all of the boys were gawking at her. They have never seen a girl as beautiful as her and wanted her attention.

McGonagall stopped at two big doors and explained how the Houses worked. "Here at Hogwarts, there are four Houses; Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. Your House is like your family. Positive behavior will earn your house points and negative behavior will lose your house points. I will be back momentarily."

With that, she disappeared into the doors. Until she got back, the students were free to talk among themselves.

Astranova looked at her brother with worried eyes. "Draco, what if I'm not sorted into Ravenclaw or Slytherin? Will you love me any less than you do?" she couldn't help but ask the question that's been on her mind for awhile.

Draco was shocked. How could his sister think that he won't love her if she's not sorted into Ravenclaw or Slytherin? "Nova, listen to me. It doesn't matter if you're sorted into Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. You're my sister, and I'll love you either way. And that goes for Mother and Father. We love you for you, not for what house you're in," Draco explained to the young redhead, pulling her into a hug.

Prof. McGonagall came back out and told them to follow her into the doors. At the front of the aisle, there sat a three-legged stool with a well worn hat on it. Everyone was confused. All they had to do was put on a hat? This sorting will be easy.

Then, the hat opened the stitches where it's eyes and mouth would've been and began to sing. When it finished, the hat was awarded with applause.

"When I call your name, put on the hat." McGonagall instructed before calling out the names.

"Abbott, Hannah!"

"HUFFLEPUFF!"

The table in yellow started clapping politely as the girl joined her new table.

"Bones, Susan!"

"HUFFLEPUFF!!"

"Boot, Terry!"

"RAVENCLAW!!"

"Granger, Hermione!"

Hermione ran forward and jammed the hat on her head excitedly.

"RAVENCLAW!!!"

"Greengrass, Daphne!"

"SLYTHERIN!!!"

"Longbottom, Neville!"

"HUFFLEPUFF!!"

"Nott, Theodore!"

"SLYTHERIN!!!"

"Ravenclaw-Prince, Draconis!"

Everyone gasped. Who ever heard of the name 'Ravenclaw-Prince'? The blonde boy walked up to the hat, his pale blonde hair glowing in the lights. Severus grabbed Remus' hand as they watched their son place the hat on his head.

"HOGWARTS PRINCE!!! SLYTHERCLAW!!!"

Both the blue and bronze table and the green and silver table burst into uproaring applause and cheers as Draco joined one of his new houses, basking in the warm welcome.

"Ravenclaw-Prince, Astranova!"

Another Ravenclaw-Prince? was what everyone thought.

The redhead girl slowly walked up to the hat and placed it on her head. It didn't take long for the hat to shout out...

"HOGWARTS PRINCESS!!! SLYTHERCLAW!!!"

Again, the Ravenclaw and Slytherin tables cheered loudly as she joined the Slytherin table with her brother.

Severus and Remus clapped for their children as they wore proud, matching smiles.

"Weasley, Ronald!"

"Gryffindor!!"

"Parkinson, Pansy!"

"SLYTHERIN!!"

"Zabini, Blaise!"

"SLYTHERIN!!!"

But, the hat wasn't finished yet.

"Will Severus, Remus, Draco, and Astranova Ravenclaw-Prince please step forward?"

The family stepped in front of the hat and began talking.

"By decree of the four founders of Hogwarts, I hereby declare Severus and Remus the King and Queen of Hogwarts and their children the Prince and Princess!"

Ravenclaw's diadem was placed on Severus' head and it glowed briefly, signifying his place as Queen of Hogwarts.

Draco and Astranova looked at eacher with a look that said that this year will be full of surprises as they looked forward with a smile.

Before long, the hat was finished. "I now give you, Queen Severus, King Remus, Prince Draco, and Princess Astranova of Hogwarts!!!" the hat bellowed, earning cheers and roars from the students.

Astranova hugged her mother's waist shyly and waved at the students.

"It's okay, Starshine. They won't treat you any differently, I promise." Severus whispered, holding his daughter tightly.

First Day of Classes by Song of the Sea
Author's Notes:
Prince Draco and Princess Astranova are starting their first day of classes at Hogwarts! But some of the students might want to cause some trouble.....
Draco and Astranova spent the night in their parents' quarters before heading to the Great Hall for breakfast.

Since the two siblings were sorted into both Slytherin and Ravenclaw, they decided to spend Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Slytherin and Tuesday and Thursday with Ravenclaw.

As they walked into the Great Hall, the students greeted them with smiles and waves.

Astranova smiled at her classmates warmly and took her seat at the Slytherin table with Draco before plating her breakfast.

Ron watched this from the Gryffindor table with contempt as she talked with her housemates about what classes they might have.

The slimy redhead snake had only been here for a few days, and already she was the most popular girl in school.

Everyone talked about how smart and pretty and kind she was, even his own brothers.

"Nova is really something, isn't she? Both her and her brother were considered childhood prodigies, they are. I wonder how she and Draco are going to do in classes today," Fred wondered to Percy and George, who nodded in agreement.

Ron spat out angrily, "Why are you guys fawning over those slimy snakes?! They're nothing more than filthy Death Eaters!!"

George and Fred were taken aback.

How could Draco and Astranova be Death Eaters when they're children just like they were?

With a glare, George spat at his youngest brother. "Hold on there, Ronniekins! I wouldn't get on Draco or Nova's bad side if I were you. Especially when you're disrespecting Hogwarts Prince and Princess! Guess what they told us, Percy."

Percy was intrigued. "What did they tell you, George?"

"Nova told me that she and Draco were the son and daughter of Lord, or should I say Lady Ravenclaw-Prince and she's also the heiress of Slytherin, goddaughter and godson to Lord Slytherin and Lord Malfoy. She's a prodigy and knows powerful spells in Parsel. So, keep. Your. Mouth. Shut. Ron. Unless you want her to hex you with Parsel spells." the twin hissed out angrily, sounding scarily close to Parseltounge.

Ron was furious!

As he plotted to make Astranova stay away from his brothers, Severus was handing out the school schedules to the Slytherins.

As Severus walked around the table with grace that could rival the wealthiest purebloods, he smiled at his children.

A letter from Marvolo had arrived last night saying that he loved him as much as Remus did.

The three of them talked it out, and they agreed to bond to each other.

Severus smiled at his students.

"Good morning, children. What I'm passing out now is the schedule for your school day. Please take care of them, and if you need another copy, please come and ask me for one."

Some of the students muttered their agreement and went back to eating their breakfast.

One of the Slytherins, a 6th year named Kaira Bluebell, asked Astranova, "Hey, kid! What's your magic level?"

Astranova put down her silverware and spared Kaira a glance.

"Both my brother and I have had golden Merlin-level magical cores since we were 7 years old. Both of us were able to complete the 1st-7th year spell books on Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, DADA, and even created our own spells. Same as our mother. So, you tell me Ms. Bluebell, what do you think our magic level is?" she asked with a red eyebrow raised and green eyes narrowed slightly.

Her eyes glowed green briefly as if daring anyone to challenge her.

The Slytherins knew that Nova and her brother would kick their butts if either of them got angry, so they shook their heads no and went back to eating.

Before long, the Slytherins were heading to their first lesson of the day, since it was Friday,: Double Potions with Gryffindor.

All of them groaned because, has it slipped anybody's mind that Gryffindors and Potions do not mix?

Now they KNOW somebody's going to get hurt.

While the Slytherins were making their way to the dungeons, Ron and his cronies were blocking their path.

Draco and Astranova, hair tied up in ponytails, stepped forward and glared while their classmates respectfully moved out of their way.

"Please get out of our way, Weasley before we're late to class and we all get into trouble," Nova demanded, hands on her hips, both of them glaring at the group slightly with their eyes narrowed and glowing.

If that doesn't say that those two siblings aren't to be toyed with, none of them knew.

Draco sighed, looked Ron in the eye and before Ron knew it, he was flipped upside down midair by his ankles.

Everyone in the hallway was laughing as they saw this.

Astranova huffed and smirked, high-fiving her brother.

"That'll teach you not to mess with us. They don't call us the 'Shadow Eagles' for nothing. Come on guys, let's get going before we're late."

Their day in class turned out to be a massive success because Draco and Nova quickly rose to the rank of top of their class and the teachers absolutely adored them.
