Author's Notes:
What happens when the enemy sees Potter in a state of depression?
Draco had gone into the restroom, expecting to have a peaceful morning. He heard crying. It was dreadful. He'd never heard the likes of it before. Rounding a corner, he saw Harry Potter in a corner.

He had his back to Draco, and likely didn't know he was there. Draco saw blood dripping to the ground. Potter was cutting. There were needles littering the floor.

"Potter, cut that out!" Draco snapped. Harry turned, and his eyes widened. So did Draco's. Potter had skinned his forehead, presumably to remove his scar, and there was so much blood on his arm and down his side, Draco was shocked he could stand.

"Potter, what have you done?" Draco gasped in horror. Harry backed into a corner, and it was the most depressing sight ever. He cowered from the slytherin boy, dropping his blade.

Draco went to Harry, and could feel the boy trembling as he removed Harry's bloodstained robe, tossing it to the sink. He assessed the damage.

A simple charm wouldn't fix this. "Tergeo." Malfoy murmured, at least able to clear the blood off Harry. He then stripped off his own robe, and began tearing strips of the fabric, as the wounds started bleeding again.

Harry did not resist, and allowed this. Draco successfully stopped the blood flow. "You are coming with me." He told Harry gently, and he led him out.

It gets better. He's going to be Harry Potter for Halloween.

Severus was rather surprised when he was brought a broken Harry Potter. Even more so to see it was Draco Malfoy who brought him. Severus had never seen a more serious case. As much as he hated the boy, he could not be left in this state.

He led Malfoy and Potter into his chamber. Together, He and Malfoy patched Harry up more long term. He'd lost a lot of blood, but it was nothing a bit of Blood Replenishing potion couldn't help.

It was a long while before Potter woke up. Severus made something for Draco to eat, but noticed the boy couldn't bring himself to eat. He seemed worried about Potter.

"Professor? Do you think he'll be alright?" Malfoy asked softly. Severus thought for a moment.

"He should be. If he's not, however, I will send him to St. Mungo's." Severus replied. Malfoy nodded, and he would not Leave the boys side.

Hours later, Harry woke. He seemed thoroughly disoriented, and looked around. He could see Draco Malfoy passed out in a chair next to the couch he was on. Malfoy was covered in blood, and Harry thought it was safe to assume the blood was his own.

His whole body ached. Sometime after he woke, Malfoy began to stir. They locked eyes for a moment, before Draco asked if Harry was alright. Harry nodded, and they were quiet again. Soon, Severus came in.

"Potter, you are lucky to be alive." He muttered, when he realized Harry was alive. He sat in an armchair, surveying the two boys.

"If I were lucky, I'd be dead." Harry murmured.

Stunned by Skylar Kay Nash
Malfoy's jaw dropped. Potter was.... Suicidal? He looked at professor Snape.

"What's gotten into you, boy?" Snape snapped.

"I can't do this. If It's not me, or Voldemort that kills me, it'll be the first real home I've ever known." Harry mumbled.

"Speak up, boy." Snape snapped. draco rounded on him.

"Is now the time for this? I mean, look at him, near dead by the time I'd got him here!" He snapped.

"You will watch your tone, mr. malfoy." Snape replied smoothly.

"You will learn how to treat people. He's suffering from Depression and Anxiety. The least you could do is try to be nice!" Draco snapped. The two glared at each other for a while.

"Fine." Severus sighed.

Chapter 4 by Skylar Kay Nash
Draco hadn't left Potter's side since he'd found him bleeding out. Professor Snape couldn't always be around. He had classes, so Draco was. They were both missing a lot of their schooling, but it was worth it if it kept Potter alive.

Draco helped him when he was anxious. Several st. Mungo's healers had come to check him out, and through the whole process, Draco stayed.

He stayed when Potter was having nightmares, he stayed when he was in tears. He even stayed when Potter seemed fine. Draco knew it wasn't over. The two quickly became close friends.

Once it became clear neither were going to be going to class anytime soon, Severus went to Professor Mcgonagall, and they arranged for their studies to be brought to them.

So Severus taught them potions and Defense, Professor Mcgonagall taught them Transfiguration and History.

They took the boys out each week to the green houses when they were empty, and professor Sprout taught them Herbology.

They still had Professor Flitwick to teach them charms, and Professor Sinistra for astronomy. Both agreed Divination was unnecessary.
