1 September 2009: Well, I decided to forget about this posting in dribs and drabs nonsense. The whole story's up now. It's finished. No, I can't believe it. I'm sure you can't believe I actually posted. But there it is, in the pixellated flesh.
I've started a number of novel length stories since I was a teenager, and this is the first one I've finished. I can honestly say it wouldn't have happened without all of you.
I don't dare hope the ending will satisfy everyone, but I hope you will find it satisfying on some level.
